The annual Youth Pheasant Hunt is held in the first couple of weeks in November and is open to Youth, Women, Disabled and Minority Hunters with a valid hunting license age 16 and under and there parents are welcome to help.

As the morning light shines through the woods the club members go into the woods to release the cock Pheasants.  The young hunters, for some of them is their first hunt, are split into groups to go into the woods to search out the Pheasants.  Each hunter is allowed two Pheasants.  Those that are not lucky enough to get there birds are than taken to the open field area for a controlled bird release.  In past years the hunters have all gotten their two birds.
