History and Focus
The Brookfield Conservation Club was founded on January 20, 1952.

Established as a bastion of conservation, the Club exists to advocate for and preserve the land, wildlife, and their habitats, as well as the traditions of outdoorsmen, so they may be experienced and enjoyed by future generations.

With the purchase of the first 47 acres from Billy Jones in 1953, members began building the Clubhouse the following year. Since then, members have worked together to maintain this special piece of Northeast Ohio. Over the past 75 years, the Club has hosted trap shoots, turkey shoots, black powder shoots, fishing derbies, and archery events. Our history also includes raising pheasants, fox hunts, and even building our own pond.

Today, with more than 250 acres of land, a two-acre pond, and multiple outdoor ranges used throughout the seasons, we continue to look ahead—preserving and improving this place for our community while carrying its legacy forward for generations to come.
